A Buzzing Day at the MoKa bee farm!

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming a wonderful group of young people to our bee farm. Their energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm filled the air—almost as much as the buzzing of the bees!

Why Bees Matter

During their visit, we explored the fascinating world of bees and why they are so important for our planet. The group learned how bees pollinate plants, helping fruits, vegetables, and flowers grow. We also spoke about the challenges bees face today, such as pesticides, loss of natural habitats, climate change, and diseases like the Varroa mite. These are some of the reasons why bees are struggling around the world—but also why we all need to care and take action.

Young Minds, Big Care for Nature

Of course, it wasn’t all learning—there was plenty of fun too! From seeing the hives up close to tasting fresh honey, the group enjoyed every moment. Their excitement and thoughtful questions showed us how much young people care about nature and protecting it.

We are truly grateful for their visit. Moments like these remind us that the future of bees—and our environment—is brighter when the next generation is engaged and inspired.

Thank you for spending the day with us, and remember: every flower you plant, every bee you protect, makes a difference. We hope to see you again soon for more buzzing adventures!
